Daryin Gennady Alexandrovich (1922, village of Ignatovo, Yaroslavl region).

People's Artist of the Russian Federation (2003), Honored Artist of the RSFSR (1978), member of the Union of Artists of the USSR (since 1954). He studied at the Yaroslavl Art College (he entered in 1938, continued his studies after the war, graduated in 1945), then at the Leningrad Institute of Painting, Sculpture and Architecture named after I. E. Repin at the USSR Academy of Arts (1945-1951, workshop of B. V. Ioganson). Participated in regional, regional, republican, All-Union, foreign and international exhibitions; held solo exhibitions in Yaroslavl (1973, 1978, 1993, 1998, 2003, 2007) and Moscow (1977). The works are represented in the museum collections of Yaroslavl and the region, Omsk (Omsk Regional Museum of Fine Arts named after M. A. Vrubel), Tula (Tula Museum of Fine Arts), Ryazan (Ryazan State Regional Art Museum named after I. P. Zhalostin), Blagoveshchensk, Chelyabinsk (Chelyabinsk Regional Art Gallery), Izhevsk, Rybinsk (Rybinsk regional Art Gallery), as well as in many Russian and foreign private collections (France, Great Britain, Germany, Italy, Spain, Belgium, Japan, China, USA, Argentina and other countries).
