Davidson Maria (Marianna) Solomonovna Painter. Member of the Union of Artists of the USSR. She received her initial artistic education in the fine arts studio of the Palace of Pioneers, then in the private studio of the artist A.R. Eberling (Repin's student). The artist considers her main teacher to be her husband, Honored Artist of the RSFSR Yuri Nilovich Tulin. In 1952 she graduated from the Higher Art and Industrial School named after V.I. Mukhina. She studied with Alexander Samokhvalov and Sergei Osipov. Participant of exhibitions in Russia and abroad. In particular, in the 70s she participated in exhibitions and auctions in Japan (Yoko Nakamura), and also collaborated with Russian-French galleries and participated in auctions in Paris. Personal exhibitions of the artist: 1977 - Union of Artists of Leningrad, 1978 - House of Friendship of Peoples, Leningrad, 2003 - Brodsky Museum, St. Petersburg, 2004 - Jewish Cultural Center of St. Petersburg, 2007 - Fountain House (Museum of A. Akhmatova) St. Petersburg, 2009 - Library named after. Griboyedov, St. Petersburg. In 1993, Marianne traveled to Spain, where she held solo exhibitions in Madrid and Toledo. Paintings by M. Davidson are in museums in St. Petersburg and the CIS, as well as in private collections and museums in Spain, France, Sweden, Japan, Germany, the USA and other countries.
