Девинов-Нюренберг Д.М.

Devinov-Nurenberg David Markovich (1896, Kherson province - 1964, Moscow).

He studied at the Odessa Art School with K.K. Kostandi, in VKHUTEMAS in the workshop of P.P. Konchalovsky (since 1920). Made trips to the Caucasus and Central Asia. Member and exhibitor of the AHRR (since 1922). In the 1930s, he led a group of artists on a trip to socialist construction sites: mines, construction sites, ports and collective farms, where a series of thematic paintings were created. He exhibited for the first time at the exhibition “Artists of the RSFSR for 15 Years” in 1932.
