Dmitriev Alexander Ivanovich (1878, Pskov - 1959, Leningrad).

Russian, Soviet architect, engineer and architectural critic, author of works on the construction of engineering structures. Academician of Architecture (1912), Doctor of Architecture (1947), full member of the USSR Academy of Architecture (since 1939) and its honorary member of the USSR Academy of Construction and Architecture (June 4, 1956). Since 1904, he taught at the Institute of Civil Engineers (LIGI, LIICS, Leningrad Civil Engineering Institute).
