He studied at the Moscow Art and Industrial College (1927-1931), at INGSA named after. I.E. Repin (in the early 1930s), at the Institute for Advanced Studies at the Moscow Art Institute (1936-1939) with B.V. Ioganson, K.F. Yuona. After the war, he visited R.R.’s workshop. Falka. Exhibitor of exhibitions since 1941. Since 1959, member of the Moscow Union of Artists. He worked on orders from the Painting Art Factory in Moscow. He painted portraits of aircraft designers, old Bolsheviks, Heroes of Socialist Labor, and thematic paintings. Master of lyrical landscape. Works by I.D. Drize are in the Scientific and Memorial Museum of N.E. Zhukovsky, in private collections in Russia and abroad.
