Dubinchik Alexander Mendelevich

He studied in Moscow in the studio at the House of Pioneers (1936 – 1940) with A.M. Mikhailov, took the advice of I.E. Grabar; at Moscow State Art Institute (1946-1952) With S.V. Gerasimov, G.G. Ryazhsky, I.E. Grabar. Participant in the Great Patriotic War (1941-1945, called up for military service in 1940); in 1941-1942, at the request of I.E. Grabar and the State Tretyakov Gallery, he was sent from the active army to the Studio of War Artists named after M.V. Grekov. He taught at the Moscow Textile Institute (1958 – 1982); at the Moscow Regional Art School in Memory of 1905 (1955-1967). In 1976, A.M. Dubinchik was awarded the title of Honored Artist of the RSFSR. The works are stored in the State Tretyakov Gallery and many private collections in Russia and abroad.
