Dugarzhapov, Bato Dugarovich

Contemporary artist. Recipient of a scholarship from the French organization "Cité des Arts" (Paris, 1999). Member of the Moscow Union of Artists, Monumental Section (2003), Member of the Union of Artists of Russia (1998), and Member of the International Art Foundation (1997). Winner of the Grand Prix of the Renaissance of the 21st Century charity organization (1995). In 1992, he graduated from the monumental department of the V.I. Surikov Moscow State Academic Art Institute. Since 1992, he has been an active participant in city, national, and international exhibitions. In 1999-2000, he participated in the mural painting of the Cathedral of Christ the Savior in a creative group led by E.N. Maksimov. Lives and works in Moscow. A regular participant in exhibitions at the Art Manege and the Art Salon at the Central House of Artists, as well as exhibitions organized by the Moscow Union of Artists. The artist's works are represented in museum and private collections in Russia and abroad.
