Egelsky Denis Evgenievich (1963, Leningrad).

Since 1989, together with Timur Novikov, he has been one of the founders and theorists of neoacademicism. In 1990-1991, he completed an internship with him at the Institute of Plastic Arts of the Center Georges Pompidou (Paris). Since 1993, professor of painting at the New Academy of Fine Arts (St. Petersburg). Lives in St. Petersburg. The works are in the Pompidou Center (Paris), the State Russian Museum, the Museum of the New Academy of Fine Arts (St. Petersburg), and in many private collections.
