Russian Soviet painter, graphic artist, teacher. Born in Saratov; in 1920 - 1923 he studied at the Saratov Art and Industrial School with V.M. Yustitsky, as well as with the master of lyrical landscape P.S. Utkin. Participant of exhibitions since 1922 (“Exhibition of paintings by contemporary painters in favor of the hungry,” Saratov). A year later, Egorov’s first personal exhibition took place. 20s - 30s - It was during this time that most of his works were created, his original talent in the satirical-grotesque genre was clearly manifested. In 1934, Egorov moved to Moscow and became a member of the Moscow Union of Artists. Being the main artist of the Moscow region, Dmitrov creates large canvases on the themes of the construction of the Moscow-Volga canal, reconstruction and new buildings in Moscow. The artist, evacuated with his family to his native Saratov, died in early 1942 from a serious illness. Egorov's works are kept in many museums across the country, including the Tretyakov Gallery, the Russian Museum, the Museum of Fine Arts. A. S. Pushkin, Karakalpak State Medical Institute named after I.V. Savitsky.
