Epifanova Vassa Iosifovna

Artist. From 1893 to 1989 attended art school in Voronezh. She studied under the guidance of artists L.G. Solovyova, M.I. Ponomareva. In 1898 he visited the workshop of M.K. Tenisheva in St. Petersburg, where classes were taught by I.E. Repin. Epifanova V.I. took part in the creation of the collective work of Repin's workshop "Installing a model in the academic workshop", where her portrait, painted by Kustodiev, is placed in the front part of the composition, on the left. In collaboration with K.A. Veshchilov performed the drama “The Founding of Petersburg” for the 200th anniversary of St. Petersburg. The works are stored in the Voronezh Regional Art Museum named after I.N. Kramskoy and in the Tver Regional Art Gallery.
