Ershov Igor Ivanovich

At the end of the 1930s he entered the Academy of Arts. I. Repin, to the painting department in the workshop of I. Brodsky, where he was taught by P. Shillingovsky, I. Bilibin, and graduated from the graphic department in 1947, in the workshop of K. Rudakov. Works by I.I. Ershov are in the collections of many museums: the State Russian Museum, the Museum of the History of the City of St. Petersburg (Peter and Paul Fortress), the All-Russian Museum of A.S. Pushkin, Russian National Library named after. Saltykova-Shchedrin; State Museum of Fine Arts of Arkhangelsk. Abroad work of I.I. Ershov's works are presented in the "Carnavalet Museum" (Paris), the F. Mitterrand Library (Paris), in private collections in the USA, Great Britain, Germany, etc.
