Studied with Korin, S. Gerasimov, D. Mochalsky. For his creative activities he has received awards from the Government of the USSR, the Union of Artists of the USSR, and the Moscow Union of Artists. At the Academy he heads the scientific section on the problems of preserving the “Basic parameters and national foundations of art and culture.” The master's works are in various museums and art galleries (Serpukhov Museum of History and Art, Arkhangelsk Regional Museum of Fine Arts, Vologda Regional Art Gallery).
