Eskaraeva Lyudmila Kaldorovna (BORN 1948, LENINGRAD)

Born in Leningrad. In 1973 she graduated from the Art Institute. I.E. Repin (b. IAH), where she studied in the workshop of Professor A.F. Pakhomova. Member of the Union of Artists since 1978. Has been taking part in exhibitions since 1974. Author of a series of graphic sheets using the lithography technique (“Surgeons”, “Children’s Hobbies”, “Village People”, “North Caucasus”, “Holidays”), a series of watercolors “Summer Garden” and silk-screen prints of the “Trinity-Sergius Lavra”. Since 1991, he has been teaching drawing, painting, composition, and engraving at St. Petersburg Children's Art School No. 2. His diploma work at the CVC (workshop of V.A. Vetrogonsky) was a series of linocuts “People of the Village.” The training took place at the graphic faculty. Qualified as a graphic artist. The works are in the State Russian Museum, the Gatchina Palace Museum, the Museum of Urban Sculpture (St. Petersburg), and the Memorial Museum-Estate of N.A. Yaroshenko (Kislovodsk), in the Hermitage library.
