Eiges Veniamin Romanovich

Studied at the painting department of the Moscow School of Painting and Painting with K.A. Korovina, S.V. Malyutina, K.F. Yuona (1908-1915). He worked as an inspector of the Higher State Workshops in the fine arts department of the People's Commissariat of Education, as well as an instructor in fine arts at the Khamovniki Council of Moscow (1918-1922). He taught at the Moscow Isotechnic School “In Memory of 1905” (1932-1935), at the Moscow Textile Institute (1935-1941), at the Moscow Printing Institute (1945-1949). Participant of exhibitions since 1911. Exhibited at the first exhibition of the “Jack of Diamonds”. He was a member of "OMKh" (1927-1932). Personal exhibitions were held in Moscow in 1934, 1936 and 1947. Exhibited at international exhibitions in Berlin, Bern, Antwerp. During the evacuation, he became the founder of the Kemerovo fine art gallery. The artist's works are in the department of private collections of the Pushkin Museum of Fine Arts. A.S. Pushkin.
