Painter, graphic artist. Studied at the Odessa Art School. In 1906 he left for Berlin. From 1908 he studied at the R. Julien Academy in Paris and worked in the workshop of A. Matisse. Since 1910, he exhibited at the Independent, Autumn, Tuileries and National Society of Fine Arts Salons. In 1914 he was a member of the board of the Russian Art Academy of S. Bulakovsky in Paris. In the 1920s. collaborated in the “left” Parisian publications “Clarte” and “Le Monde”, in the magazine “Udar”. In the 1920s - 1930s. He held personal exhibitions in Parisian galleries. Participated in Russian exhibitions in London, New York, Chicago. During the occupation of France, he was arrested and sent to the Drancy camp, from where he was transferred to Auschwitz, where he died.
