Filippov Sergey Petrovich

Honored Artist of Russia, Academician of the Nika Academy of Cinematographic Arts. Has government awards. He has made more than 30 feature films and has received prizes from the film studio named after. M. Gorky for the best camera work. Member of the Creative Union of Artists of Russia. In 1961, already a master of cinematography, Sergei Filippov plunged into painting as if by chance, but immediately and forever. The new type of creativity took me seriously. Initially, Sergei Filippov’s idol and creative inspiration was Van Gogh, his manner of depicting emotional and spiritual tension, the depth and strength of feelings conveyed by the artist. Sergei Filippov's paintings were presented at many Russian and foreign art exhibitions: Central House of Artists, Pravda Publishing House, House of Cinema, Auction of Perestroika Artists (Moscow), Vera Gallery (Boston), English Royal Academy of Arts (London).
