Fomin Petr Timofeevich (1919 - 1996).

Russian painter, People's Artist of the USSR (1991). Full Member of the USSR Academy of Arts. Awarded the Gold Medal of the USSR Academy of Arts. In 1946-1952. studied at the Institute. I.E. Repin with Professor V.M. Oreshnikova. Member of the Union of Artists of the USSR. Personal exhibitions were held at the Russian Museum (1984), in Moscow at the Central House of Artists (1986), at the Academy of Arts (1988, 1994). The works are in the State Tretyakov Gallery, the State Russian Museum), in the Dresden Art Gallery (Germany), in the Palace of Arts (China).
