Painter. Honored Artist of the Russian Federation (2004). Member of the Society of Painters of the Moscow Union of Artists. He graduated from the Latvian Academy of Arts (1952), where he studied with Professor Tilberg. Creative trips: to Pskov, Veliky Novgorod and Pereslavl-Zalessky. A significant part of creativity was associated with the Academic Dacha named after. I.E. Repin (Tver region), where he lived since the late 1950s. Personal exhibitions: in Moscow (1990, 1991, 1992, 1996, 2003) and Vyshny Volochek (2005). The works are in the Tver Art Gallery, the Krasnodar Art Museum, and regional museums of the former USSR.
