Painter. In 1947-1952. Studied at the Gorky Art School. Works in the landscape genre. Since 1966, member of the Union of Artists of Russia. In 1969-1975 was the main artist of Dzerzhinsk. He taught at school (1952-1966), in the studio of the Palace of Pioneers (1966-1968). Since 1953, he has been a regular participant in regional exhibitions. Exhibitor of zonal ("Big Volga", 1964, 1967, 1974, 1980, 1985, 1991, 1998, 2003), republican (Moscow, 1965) art exhibitions. The artist’s personal exhibitions were held in 1982 in Gorky, and in 1999 in Dzerzhinsk. Works by Frolov A.I. are in many regional museums, as well as in private collections in Russia.
