In 1959 he graduated from the Penza Art School. K.A. Savitsky. Since the late 60s, he has published critical and review articles on art. Member of the Union of Artists of the USSR since 1975. Participant of regional and zonal exhibitions. His works are in many regional museums, as well as in private collections in Russia and abroad.
