He studied in the studio at the Kaluga Art Museum (1936-39) with T.A. Kalashnikov and A.V. Fadeeva. Since 1937 he took an active part in exhibitions. In the 1950s, he organized the Kaluga branch of the Union of Artists and was its first chairman. Author of the works “The Revolt of the Romodanov Peasants”, “Phloxes”, “View of the New Outskirts of Kaluga”, “Autumn Study”, a series of portraits of honored doctors of the RSFSR. The artist's works are most widely represented in the exhibition of the Kaluga Regional Art Museum, as well as the Kaluga Museum of Local Lore.
