Галатенко В.И.

Galatenko Vladimir Ivanovich (born 1949, Astrakhan region).

Honored Artist of the Russian Federation. He studied at the Astrakhan Art School (1968-1972), then at the Moscow Textile Institute in the textile design department. Participant of exhibitions since 1980. Exhibited at Moscow, republican, all-Union and foreign exhibitions. Since 1986 – member of the Union of Artists. Since 1982, he has been working on the design and illustration of books for children and adults. Works by Galatenko V.I. are in several Russian museums, as well as in private collections in Russia, Poland, Denmark, Germany, France, Japan, Italy, Austria, India, USA, Yugoslavia.
