Gavrilov Vladimir Vasilievich

Leningrad artist, painter, landscape painter. In 1953 he graduated from the Higher Arctic Maritime School named after S. O. Makarov. In 1953-1955 studied at LIZHSA named after I.E. Repin as a volunteer student with V.A. Gorba, I.A. Stepashkina, F.S. Pustovoitova, P. G. Korolev, in 1955 - 1957 in LHPU. Since 1961, he worked as an artist at the Museum of the Arctic and Antarctic, which allowed him to participate in polar expeditions and work on full-scale sketches. Since 1962 - participant of exhibitions. Since 1972 - member of Loskh. The author's personal exhibitions were held in Leningrad (1962, 1963, 1965, 1971). The artist's works are presented in regional museums of Russia and numerous private collections.
