Gerasimov Andrey Viktorovich (born 1962, Kirov region).

Honored Artist of Russia. In 1987 he graduated with honors from Moscow State Art Institute named after. V.I. Surikov (teacher I.S. Glazunov). From 1992 to 1997 worked at the Creative Painting Workshop of the Russian Academy of Arts under the guidance of academicians A.P. and S.P. Tkachev. In 1997 he was awarded a Diploma of the Russian Academy of Arts for a series of Russian landscapes. The work of I.I. had a great influence on Gerasimov’s development as a painter. Shishkin, whose diaries and notes he purposefully studied at the Academy of Arts. Participant of exhibitions since 1983, exhibitor at more than seventy different exhibitions in Russia and abroad. The artist’s personal exhibitions were held at the Manege State Central Exhibition Hall (1999) and in the Moscow Kremlin (January-February 2005). In 2004, the Bely Gorod publishing house published a book-album “Russian Landscape” about the work of Andrei Gerasimov.
