Гиппиус Н.А.

Gippius Natalya Alexandrovna (born 1905, St. Petersburg).

Painter, graphic artist. Member of the Union of Artists of the USSR (1937). Niece of the famous Silver Age poetess Zinaida Gippius. The first teacher was his father, the artist A.V. Gippius. Then she studied at the Perm Art School with I.N. Vrochensky and A.S. Shestakov (1924 – 1928), at VKHUTEIN with L.A. Bruni, K.N. Istomina, D.S. Moora, M.S. Rodionova, N.A. Udaltsova and V. Favorsky (1928 – 1936). Since 1931 he has been a regular participant in exhibitions. She worked on the design of the All-Russian Agricultural Exhibition (in collaboration with K.M. Lekomtsev). The works of N. Gippius were exhibited at foreign exhibitions in Berlin (1967) and Warsaw (1967). A personal exhibition of his works took place in 1972 in Moscow.
