Guillaumin Armand

Guillaumin Armand (1841, Paris – 1927).

Painter. In 1860 he entered the Académie Suisse, where he met Cezanne and Pissarro. In the 1870s he worked in the town of Pontoise. Organizer of the first group exhibition of the Impressionists in 1874. He took part in most impressionist exhibitions and exhibited at the Salon of Les Misérables. In the late 1880s he was friends with Vincent Van Gogh. He sold his works in the gallery of his brother Theo Van Gogh.
