Soviet graphic artist, book illustrator, poster artist; author of well-known posters. Member of the Union of Artists of the USSR. He is known as the author of posters on advertising, agricultural, sports, election, and foreign and domestic policy topics. He began his creative path in the 1930s with work in the field of posters, magazines (magazines “Ogonyok” and “Smena”) and easel graphics. Posters by Pyotr Golub are a notable phenomenon of propaganda art of the late 40s - early 50s. Participated in Moscow and all-Union art exhibitions. Posters by Golub are presented in the Russian State Library (RSL) in Moscow, the Rybinsk State Historical, Architectural and Art Museum-Reserve, the National Library of Belarus, and private collections in Russia and abroad.
