Gombarg Julius Yakovlevich (1880-1954).

In the 1890s. studied at the Odessa Art School. In the 1910s created cartoons for the publications “Sun of Russia”, “Theater and Life”. In 1919-1925 lived in Poland and New York. Since 1925, he worked on cartoons for the magazines “Crocodile”, “Journalist”, “Evening Moscow”.
