Goncharov Andrey Dmitrievich (1903, Moscow - 1979, Moscow).

People's Artist of Russia (1979), Corresponding Member of the USSR Academy of Arts (1973). Honored Artist of the RSFSR (1969). Laureate of the USSR State Prize (1973). In 1918-1927 studied in Moscow at VKHUTEMAS-VKHUTEIN with I.I. Mashkova, A.V. Shevchenko and V.A. Favorsky. One of the founders of OST (1925). In 1943-45 he worked in the magazine "Front-line Humor". In 1930-1934. taught at the Moscow Printing Institute (professor since 1958).
