Studied at the Moscow Art University (1945-49) with V.N. Baksheeva. Then to IS (graduated in 1956). Participant of exhibitions since 1953. Master of industrial landscape. Author of numerous works with views of his native Vologda region. He made drawings on plastic anatomy for published textbooks.
