Gorokhov Ivan Lavrentievich (1863, village of Beli, Moscow province - 1934, Mozhaisk).

Russian artist. He studied at the MUZHVZ (from 1874 - a volunteer, from 1880 - a student) with I.M. Pryanishnikova, V.E. Makovsky. Author of a number of paintings on themes of folk life. After 1917, he retired from active creative work. The artist’s works are in the State Tretyakov Gallery, the Far Eastern Art Museum (Khabarovsk), and the Dnepropetrovsk State Art Museum.
