Gorsky-Chernyshev Nikolay Andreevich

Honored Artist of Russia (2005). Full member of the Petrovsky Academy of Sciences and Arts. Member of the Society of Fine Arts in Florence. From 1975 to 1982 studied at the Moscow Secondary Art School at the Moscow State Art Institute. V.I. Surikov. In 1988 he graduated with honors from Moscow State Art Institute named after. V.I. Surikov in the easel painting workshop under the guidance of Professor T.T. Salakhova. Awarded a 1st degree diploma from the USSR Academy of Arts for the composition “In the Tretyakov Gallery” (1976). From 1992 to 1996 worked at the Creative Painting Workshop of the Russian Academy of Arts under the direction of A.P. and S.P. Tkachev. Member of the Union of Artists since 1989. Regular participant in Moscow, republican, all-Union, and foreign exhibitions since 1983. The artist’s personal exhibitions were held in Italy (1991, 2001,2004). Since 2005, he has been directing the painting workshop of the Faculty of Art of Moscow State University. M.V. Lomonosov. The artist’s works are presented in the Rostov Art Museum, the Lipetsk Art Gallery, in many other regional museums, as well as in the private collections of Alex Windelstein (France, England, USA), Kaosservice (Italy), Haake Tomas (Germany).
