Goryachev Semyon Petrovich (1911–1998).

Painter, graphic artist. Honored Artist of the RSFSR (1983). Chairman of the Board of the Yaroslavl Union of Artists (1952-1954). Member of the Union of Artists of Russia (1937). Author of landscapes and works on military themes (front-line sketches and engravings for the army newspaper "For the Motherland" 1942-1945), illustrated children's books. Since 1936, he has participated in art exhibitions: regional, regional, republican, all-Union and foreign (France, Finland, Poland) exhibitions. Personal exhibitions - Yaroslavl (1961, 1971, 1978, 1982, 1986, 1991, 1996, memorial - 2001, 2011). The works are in museum collections in Yaroslavl and the region, Ryazan, Cherkassy (Ukraine), Grozny (Checheno-Ingushetia), and in many Russian and foreign private collections.
