French graphic artist, cartoonist and poster artist.He received his art education in Paris. Since the late 1890s, he collaborated with satirical and political publications, including the magazines L'Assiette au Beurre, Le Rire, Le Chambard socialiste. J.F.Grand'jouan was one of the notable representatives of socio-political caricature of the early 20th century. His work was characterized by a pronounced anti-militarist and socialist orientation. He worked in the technique of lithography, created posters, illustrations and magazine graphics. The artist's works are kept in museum and private collections, including in the collections of French public libraries and graphic arts museums.
