Grasmire Dominik Johann Georg (1691, Brixen-1751, Wilti).

Author of easel compositions on religious and mythological subjects, as well as altar images and monumental paintings of palaces and temples. Native of South Tyrol. He received his artistic education in Italy. He studied with Giuseppe Alberti in Cavalesi, with G. Lazzarini in Venice, then at the Academy of Fine Arts in Rome under the direction of Benedetto Luti. The master's main works are kept in museums and churches in Innsbruck, Vienna and Prague.
