Soviet poster artist. Member of the Union of Artists of the USSR. Graduated from Alma-Ata Art School (1939). He created posters for advertising (“Izhevsky Source”, 1936). Since 1947, he also worked on political posters (“Long live the 32nd anniversary of the Great October Socialist Revolution!”, 1949, “Glory to excellent calculation!”, 1950). Also known is Grebenshchikov’s propaganda poster “Read, envy, I am a citizen of the Soviet Union!”, 1967. Most of all, the artist worked on advertising posters for feature films for the publishing house “Reklamfilm”: “School of Courage”, 1954, “Nest of Nobles”, 1969, “Communists”, 1969, “And the Dawns Here Are Quiet”, 1972, “At Your Own Will”, 1973, “Torpedo Bombers”, 1983, “Optimistic Tragedy”, 1987, “Circus”, 1947, “Foundling”, 1949. For the publishing house “Glavkinoprokat” he made the poster “Kotovsky”, 1951. Grebenshchikov’s circulation posters are in the collection of the Russian State Library, the funds of the Central Military Museum of the Russian Federation, the Museum of Cosmonautics, private Russian and foreign collections.
