Григорьев Н.М.

Grigoriev Nikolai Mikhailovich (1880, Vyatka province -1943, Moscow).

Painter, graphic artist, lithographer. Lived and worked in Moscow. Studied at the Kazan Art School under P.P. Benkova and N.I. Feshin (1903-1909), in MUZHVZ (1909-1914) with A.E. Arkhipova, K.A. Korovina, L.O. Pasternak. Participant of exhibitions since 1909. Exhibited at exhibitions of the Moscow Art Gallery, Moscow Association of Artists, Moscow Salon, participated in the first exhibition of the Makovets society in 1922. Was a member of the OMH (1927-1932). In the 1920s. taught at VKHUTEMAS. The artist’s personal exhibition was held in 1920 in Moscow. The artist’s works are in the Kaluga State Regional Museum, the Perm Art Gallery, the State Museum of Uzbekistan, and in private collections in Russia and abroad.
