Honored Artist of Russia. Graduated from the Leningrad State Institute of Painting, Sculpture and Architecture. I.E. Repin of the USSR Academy of Arts in 1962. He worked in the field of genre painting and landscape. Author of a number of paintings dedicated to the Great Patriotic War. In 1962 – 1963 he taught at the Gorky Art School. Member of the Union of Artists of the RSFSR since 1970. Since 1962 - participant of regional art exhibitions. Exhibitor of the zonal exhibition (“Big Volga” 1967, 1970, 1974, 1985, 1991, 1998, 2003), as well as all-Russian (Moscow 1999, 2000) art exhibitions. The artist’s personal exhibition took place in Nizhny Novgorod in 2002.
