In 1951 he graduated from the art department of the Moscow Textile Institute. He worked in the Leningrad and Novosibirsk Model Houses. Since 1955 - member of the Union of Artists of the USSR. In cycles of pictorial watercolors and tempera, he developed his own version of patterned, variegated, semi-abstract-surreal avant-garde. The works are in the State Tretyakov Gallery, State Russian Museum.
