Gruzdev Vladimir Alexandrovich (1880s - 1956).

An original artist, the first children's artist in Turkmenistan, he designed books on pedagogy and hygiene, and also illustrated national fairy tales and works of folklore. The heyday of creativity occurred in the 1920-30s.
