Gruzinsky Petr Nikolaevich (1837, Kursk - 1892, St. Petersburg).

Painter, battle painter, genre painter. He studied at the Academy of Arts from 1851 to 1863 with B.P. Villevalde. From 1863 to 1872 – pensioner of the Academy of Arts in Germany, Italy, France. Lived and worked mainly in Paris. At exhibitions of the Academy of Arts since 1853. Participated in the World Exhibitions in London (1872), Vienna (1873), and the All-Russian Exhibition in Moscow (1882). The works are presented in the State Russian Museum, the State Tretyakov Gallery.
