Since 1934 - professional photojournalist. During the Second World War he was a front-line photojournalist for Izvestia. He filmed on many fronts, and also filmed historical events, such as the Parade on Red Square on November 7, 1941, the Yalta and Potsdam conferences, and the Victory Parade in Moscow on June 24, 1945. From 1946 he worked in a publishing house and for trade union magazines, and from 1956 he collaborated with the newspaper Trud. Filmed Yu. A. Gagarin, leaders of the Soviet state.
