Godlevsky Ivan Ivanovich

In 1927-1931 studied at the Kiev Art Institute, then at the Institute. I.E. Repin (1936-1941). He worked in the personal workshop of Professor A.A. Osmerkina. I wrote my thesis under the guidance of V.M. Oreshnikova. Participant of exhibitions since 1940. In 1991 he left for Paris. Personal exhibitions were held in Leningrad (1961), Lvov (1963), Paris (1991), Madrid, Germany, Antwerp. The artist’s works are in the State Russian Museum, in the Metropolitan Museum (New York), in many museums in Russia, as well as abroad.
