Landscape painter. People's Artist of the Kirghiz SSR. Laureate of the State Prize of the Kirghiz SSR named after. Toktogul. In 1934 he became deputy chairman of the Union of Artists of Kyrgyzstan. He is known as a master of painting mountain nature and the author of industrial canvases dedicated to the construction of the high-mountain Toktogul hydroelectric power station. Works are in the State Tretyakov Gallery and other museums, in private collections in Russia and abroad.
