Ignatiev Viktor Viktorovich

Painter, landscape painter. He graduated from the Moscow School of Painting, Sculpture and Architecture (1908-10, 1914-17), a course in the lapidary workshop of the Yekaterinburg Art and Industrial School (1908). Since 1908, he exhibited works at the Moscow School of Painting, Sculpture and Architecture, the Institute of Painting, Sculpture and Architecture named after I.E. Repin, the Moscow Society of Art Lovers, took part in the Exhibition of Peredvizhniki artists. The artist's works were reproduced in the Soviet press, in particular in the form of postcards. Famous works: “The Last Snow”, “Spring Song”, “Street in the Village of Medvedkovo”, “April”, “Russian Village”, “House in the Village”, “Early Spring in the Village”, “In the Village”. The artist’s paintings are presented in the collections of museums in Yekaterinburg, Kirov, Sevastopol, and are found in galleries and auctions around the world.
