Ionin Nikolai Alexandrovich (1890-1948).

Painter, graphic artist. He studied at VKHUTEIN from 1921 to 1925 in the workshop of K.S. Petrov-Vodkin, where he met A.N. Samokhvalov, with whom they had friendly and family relations. The author of several portraits of E.N. Samokhvalova (Ionina), which critics speak of as an “icon of Soviet Art Deco” (A. Borovsky). The artist’s works are in the State Russian Museum, Pskov and Novgorod museums.
