Ivanov Yuri Valentinovich

Graphic artist, illustrator, teacher. Member of the Union of Artists of the USSR (1967). Professor of the Moscow State Academy of Arts named after V.I. Surikov. Honored Artist of the Russian Federation. Graduated from the poster workshop of the Moscow State Art Institute named after V.I. Surikov (1965). Studied with N.A. Ponomareva, O.M. Savostyuk, B.A. Uspensky. Participant of art exhibitions since 1965 - city, republican, all-Union and international. Since 2007, head of the workshop “The Art of Illustration and Book Design” at the Moscow State Art Institute named after V. I. Surikov. He worked in the field of book illustration. Illustrated more than three hundred books, including N.V. Gogol, A.K. Tolstoy, L.N. Tolstoy, N. Machiavelli and many other authors.
