Soviet graphic designer who worked in the post-war period in various fields of applied art: from sketches of posters and packaging of sweets, to the design of performances and metro stations. Known as the author of universal covers of the Leningrad Record Factory. In 1931 he graduated from the Art and Industrial College. One of his main and significant works is a series of sketches for Homer’s Odyssey, work on which was interrupted by the war.
