Publishing house of the Union of Artists of the USSR, Moscow. Founded in 1946 under the Organizing Committee of the Union of Soviet Artists. It published publications on Soviet fine art, albums, books, art reproductions, postcards, booklets, catalogs, and posters for art exhibitions. Albums dedicated to the art of allied artists (the “Masters of Our Century” series and others) and collections of theoretical articles on the problems of Soviet art occupied a large place in publishing products. Published the magazines “Creativity” and “Decorative Art of the USSR”. History In 1964 it was merged with Izogiz and was part of the system of the USSR Council of Ministers Committee on Press. It had a branch in Leningrad. In 1969 it was reorganized with the creation of the specialized publishing house "Aurora" on the basis of the Leningrad branch. In the 1990s. transformed into the Galart publishing house.
