Izmailovich Vladislav Matveevich

Izmailovich Vladislav Matveevich (1872–1959).

Painter, graphic artist. He studied at TSUTR since 1889 with N.A. Kosheleva, G.A. Manizer, received in 1895 for his drawing and model of a carriage in the style of Louis XVI the title of learned draftsman and the right to a foreign pension. From 1896 to 1898, he was a pensioner of the Central Institute of Transport in Rome (in 1897 he studied at the Academy of Fine Arts under F. Pradillo), Paris and Berlin. Lived in St. Petersburg-Leningrad. He took part in exhibitions since 1893. He completed a large number of interior paintings: the TSUTR Museum, the All-Union Communist Party (Bolsheviks) Discussion Club in St. Petersburg, the concert hall and dining room of the sanatorium in Teberda and in private houses in St. Petersburg. He was involved in the restoration of paintings in the Catherine Palace in Tsarskoye Selo and the Engineering Castle in St. Petersburg.
